What Is Escrow?

It's a way to make sure that both parties involved in the timeshare rental transaction receive the money and goods they have agreed to. A third legally-authorized party, such as Transfer My Timeshare, holds the valuables and then distributes them as directed by your contract.

Why Use Escrow?

Make sure that you receive what's fair, right and legal based on a contract you have made. Let others know that their deal with you is trustworthy and hassle-free.

Using our escrow service makes your property more attractive to renters. They know they don't have to worry about getting what they want and will be more likely to deal with you rather than with another timeshare owner. If you are a renter, suggest using escrow to the owner you are contracting with - you'll both be safer.

1. Agree on a rental price and that you will use Transfer My Timeshare's escrow service.
2. Owner please fill out this form online.
3. We email the renter with a link to the form filled out thus far by the owner. The renter then completes their portion of the form and returns it to Transfer My Timeshare.
4. Transfer My Timeshare collects the $69 fee from whichever party has agreed to pay it.
5. The renter pays 50% of the rental fee into the escrow account.
6. 60 days prior to the rental date, the renter pays the remainder of the rental fee to Transfer My Timeshare.
7. Transfer My Timeshare sends a payment to the timeshare owner about 11 days after the rental period, provided there are no disputes filed by the renter.
